The Employment Law & HR Harbour
Employing staff can be very time consuming and often stressful, but unless you can get by without employees it is a necessary step in the development of your business.
As your business grows you may find that you are taking on more and more staff and perhaps you are trying to handle the HR issues yourself, or you have someone else on your team who is dealing with the odd issue as and when they arise.
The good thing is that you need not struggle alone with employee and HR issues, as help and support is available every step of the way, AND it costs less than you may think.
In order to meet the needs of employers like you and to deal with the burden of HR and personnel issues I have developed a range of services which are designed to give you the peace of mind of knowing that you have someone on hand at all times to help when issues arise, to ensure best practice and therefore more productive staff. You also have the added bonus of knowing that you are complying with relevant employment law and procedures.
In addition I am also able to offer an exclusive online HR Portal ‘The Harbour’. You can find out more by watching this short video:
Why should we use your services for HR & Employment issues?
The benefits of engaging my services to assist you with HR and Employment law are as follows:
1) Specialist and experienced advice.
I have been advising employers for over 7 years and only specialise in employment and HR advice which means that I can offer you the most up to date and best practice advice.
2) Access HR Software & Legal Advice in an easy to use package for one fee
By providing you with an innovative HR portal and legal advice in one package you can have the peace of mind that all of your documents and legal advice are in one place. It is easy to access, portable and guaranteed to save you time and money.
3) Regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
As I am regulated by the SRA you can be assured of the service and advice that you will receive.
4) Available when you need help
I do not have ‘regular’ office hours and utilise up to date technology to ensure that I am on hand to assist when you need the help
5) Pragmatic commercially aware advice.
I will provide you with your options from both a legal and commercial standpoint. Quite often it is prudent for your business to take a route on a commercial basis rather than merely following the legal position and I can assist with this.
6) HR Experience.
As I have previously been employed as a HR Manager I am aware of the issues that can arise outside of the standard ‘legal’ issues, and I understand the complexity of employing staff, and everything that can come with this.
7) Indemnity Insurance.
I have comprehensive indemnity insurance, providing you with piece of mind.
8) Reasonable rates for additional work.
There may be occasions when something unusual happens or you need additional assistance. Unlike a traditional law firm I am able to keep my overheads low and therefore pass this saving on to you.
